Simply and automatically compare cheques presented to bank with electronic list of customer cleared items created through Positive Pay, significantly reducing chance of fraud

For forward Positive Pay the cheque details are automatically compared with the electronic reference details originally provided by the customer. The customer is alerted to the existence of the suspect items and can make a final pay / no-pay decision based on the information and images they can view via Internet banking.

For reverse Positive Pay, the customer does not need to provide information in advance. Instead, the cheques to be drawn on that customer’s account are presented to the customer via Internet banking to make the pay / no-pay decisions on each. For reverse Positive Pay the customer can select to confirm all cheques, or a selected subset based on account number, value, and so on.
